A RAINY, VIBRANT LOPEZ ISLAND WEDDING
The San Juan Islands, often called the jewel of the PNW (ok, I made that up, but they should be called that) are a varied bunch. One of the most charming island is Lopez, often called Slowpez (that nickname is real, honest.) J & E invited their guests to join them on the water, near a marina that's been in their family for decades. I love when couples incorporate spaces that have that depth of meaning in their lives.
The day started out pouring rain, but ended with an incredible show at sunset. Honestly kind of my ideal day - soft overcast light, and then a killer golden hour. That colorful show carried throughout the day, including the vibrant florals and the mismatched print on the bridesmaid's dresses.
The day was expertly planned by Tara with Sugarcomb, and the florals by Country Bouquets Floral.
