2021 HIGHLIGHTS - A YEAR IN REVIEW

After a year like 2020, I think we were all ready to get back to some semblance of “normal” … or mostly ready to party. ;) If I noticed one thing, though, about weddings in 2021, it was a renewed and intensified focus on family and friends, and the experiences people shared with them.

The bonds between us, big and small, at large raucous weddings and small intimate elopements, were front and center. It was a beautiful thing to witness, and an honor to be invited in to document and preserve that.

Given that was such a busy year, this post is a little longer than usual. Ok, a lot longer. It was all we could do to get the photos selected down to this few hundred … trust us it was a serious task!

For 14 years now I’ve come away year after year grateful to the people who ask me to preserve these parts of their lives. From the San Juan Islands, to downtown Seattle, to little mountain towns in Idaho, and everything in between, northwest weddings have been my life, and I couldn’t be happier about it. So, thank you!
